As a turnkey general contractor, we offer our clients comprehensive project management for the construction of fiber optic networks — from the initial high-level cost estimate, through detailed design, execution, and permit planning, to construction of the passive network, as-built surveying and documentation, and support during commissioning of the FTTx network.

Your Profile:

- You have successfully completed a degree in surveying, technical drafting, or surveying technology (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification in the field described above - Career changers are also very welcome. You should have good comprehension skills, a technical affinity, a meticulous way of working, and no hesitation about familiarizing yourself with new tasks and software programs - Ideally, you already have some initial experience in surveying technology (especially in the field of fiber optic expansion) - You have initial software skills in GEOgraph, CAD applications, and visualization programs, as well as good user skills in common MS Office programs You have very good written and spoken German and English skills and are willing to work in the field as well - You round off your profile with a quick and thorough grasp of new areas of responsibility, a good technical understanding, and enjoyment of working within a team You hold a valid Class B driver's license (mandatory)

Your Tasks:

- Your main area of responsibility includes surveying-related planning of construction projects, both in the field and in the office - Your field duties include measuring areas, field dimensions, and topographical surveys of the projects to be developed - In the office, you review and process the survey results in the form of sketches, plans, and photo documentation - Upon completion of construction work, you review and prepare the field measurements as well as photo documentation for our construction and civil engineering projects - You forward the completed construction file to the relevant department and, if necessary, to the responsible authorities for building permit purposes - Recording analog and digital performance and installation plans - You document geo and network data in the geographic information system (GIS) and create detailed drawings - You read and process survey files, and create cartographic route and special plans in the GIS/CAD system - You capture missing data as well as the thematic and topographical, or generalized, visualization of complex spatial matters Please send your application with the usual documents and your salary expectations by email to: bewerbung@ght-bau.de Alternatively, you can apply using the application form at the bottom of this page.
